Sleep apnea is still not widely understood in Pakistan because most people think snoring is “normal.” Many don’t know nighttime choking, fatigue, irritability, or morning headaches are signs of a serious breathing disorder. Another reason is that sleep studies and sleep specialists are mostly available only in big cities.
The good news is CPAP therapy has become more accessible now — people can even order devices nationwide. Increasing awareness through forums, family doctors, and online communities can help more people get diagnosed early.
What do others here think? Have you ever considered sleep apnea testing?
